Chris Johnson - Film Director
Chris JohnsonChris Johnson is thrilled to be a part of One Night in Berlin at the Fringe. A recent graduate of the Mel Hoppenheim School of Cinema at Concordia University, he has worked in various capacities for both stage and screen. Chris was the producer of the McGill Savoy Society’s recent production of Gilbert & Sullivan’s Iolanthe, as well as appearing on-stage as an actor/singer in a number of their previous productions. He is the recipient of several awards and grants for his film work and most recently served as art director for the NFB short film, The Pen and the Sword. His own short film Pretty, Gay, and Available recently played at Montreal’s Image+Nation film festival. In addition to film and stage work, Chris also spends time volunteering at several community organizations including the Montreal Holocaust Memorial Museum.
